How to help

It’s hard to overstate the disaster unfolding.

It’s been 10 days since Putin launched a full scale invasion of Ukraine. Thousands have died and over a million have fled. This is just the start.

I’ll be honest, it’s taken me a while to grasp the magnitude of the situation. Ukraine is country of 44 million people and Putin shows no sign of relenting. This has already affected tens of millions of lives.

I’m not going to spend a lot of time philosophising about it. But do consider helping. Here are some links:

1. Donate to the UK’s DEC appeal.

2. Help Airbnb host Ukrainian refugees.

3. If you’re really feeling brave… Join the Ukrainian army.

Also a word to the incredible Ukrainian resistance. Over 66,000 have returned home to fight. Pure courage/
